Soulfest 2010 Philanthropy: Blood Drive Soulfest 2010 is swiftly aproaching and one of the most important aspects of this event is our philanthropy. This year we are uniting to teruly change lives. We (the 2010 Soulfest Executive Board) have partnered with "Life South Community Blood Center" to execute a blood drive like none other. Children and families in the Gainesville community as well as our very own students and staff here at the University of Florida are in desperate need of blood transfusions and we, together have the power to make a difference. We ask that you and your organization come out and truly lend a helping hand from Tuesday, September 28, 2010 through Friday, October 8, 2010 at both of our locations. Blood Mobiles will be stationed near the HUB and University tower. It is our request that at least 50% of your organization's members donate blood however, we urge full chapter participation. One pint of blood can save up to three lives, so please remeber there is strength in numbers and we are more than confident that our generous contributions will save millions.
